How did the week go?

Sleep was better. Missed Thursday, made it up Saturday. Hips felt sore on squats.

A week that runs itself.

Every client on their own rhythm, asked in their own timezone, whether or not you remember it's Sunday.

Seven days, eight clients, nothing typed by the coach.

    Checked in

    Less admin. More coaching.

None of this is a new thing to learn. It's the work you already do every Sunday night, done without you.

    It chases.
    So you don't.

Set a cadence once and CheckLog asks on schedule, in your client's timezone. One nudge if they go quiet, then it stops and they surface in your overdue list — because by then it's a conversation, not another email.

    Two weeks.
    Side by side.

Pick any two check-ins and see front against front, back against back, with the weight change between them. Photos stay in private storage on links that expire within the hour.

    Every week.
    One screen.

Weight trend, every macro target as you have adjusted it, and private notes only you can see. Nothing to scroll back through an inbox for.

    Four steps. Then it's automatic.

Setup is the only part that costs you anything. After that the work arrives on its own and you spend your time reading it.

    1. Add a client.

      Ten seconds

A name and an email. They get one link, fill in their own height, starting weight and photos, and tick your waiver. You type none of it.

    2. Set the rhythm.

      Once, and never again

Weekly, fortnightly, whatever suits them. From then on CheckLog does the asking, on schedule, in their timezone, with one nudge if they go quiet.

    3. They check in.

      Under a minute for them

Weight, front and back photos, and how the week actually went. No password, no app to install, nothing to remember.

    4. You read it.

      One screen per client

Weight trend, any two weeks of photos side by side, macro targets as you've adjusted them, and private notes only you can see.

    Why I built this

I quit a good coach after three months.

I've been lifting since I was a teenager and I love it. I could just never get the food right on my own. So in August 2024, sitting at the worst shape I'd been in, I paid for an online coach. Big name, knew his stuff, genuinely good at the job.

I thought it would be simple. It wasn't.

Nutrition was one document. Training was a different document. Check-ins came whenever he remembered, twice one week and then nothing for two. And when I did send mine in, weight and photos and all of it, I'd hear nothing back. No confirmation, nothing. I never knew if he'd even opened it.

So there I am chasing my own coach for a schedule, keeping track of which document said what, wondering if the thing I just sent went anywhere. Being coached had turned into a part-time job, and I was the one working it.

Three months and I was done. Not because the coaching was bad, because it wasn't. Because everything around it was a mess.

That's the whole reason this exists. He didn't need a better program. He needed one place for all of it to live. One link a week for the client, one screen for the coach, and nobody guessing whether a check-in landed.

If he'd been using this, I'd probably still be paying him.
